Training for GIZ staff on renewable energy support frameworks

Dr. David Jacobs trained staff from the German development agency GIZ on support mechanisms for renewable energy technologies. The training involved the understanding of the fundamental operation of tradable green certificate mechanisms and renewable portfolio standards, feed-in tariffs, auction mechanisms and other fiscal policies. The workshop also included an analysis of international best and worst practice. The training workshop was organised by Renewables Academy (RENAC) in Berlin.
