Feed-in tariff calculation in Ghana

Dr. Jacobs was project lead for a World Bank consulting project in Ghana. He worked at the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) on the calculation of tariffs for five renewable energy technologies, including solar PV, wind energy, biomass, waste-to -energy and small-hydro. The consultants designed a spread-sheet model for tariff calculation and analysed the costs of renewable energy technologies in Ghana and the ECOWAS region. The project was executed by Dr. Jacobs as director “Renewable Energy” at the consulting firm IFOK.
