PV Self-consumption policies for residential customers
Dr. Jacobs was contributing author to a report analysing the effects of a large uptake of non-incentivised residential PV (RE-PROSUMERS) on behalf of IEA-RETD. The objective of the report is to empower policy makers to make informed decisions with regards to the legal and regulatory policy options that ease the transition towards a large scale decentralised production of non-incentivised PV. Dr. Jacobs was lead author of the German case study on self-consumption policies for solar PV. The project was executed by Dr. Jacobs, then director of the Transdisciplinary Panel on Energy Change at the IASS, in cooperation with Meister Consultant Group and E3 Analytics.
